We at Hampden cars have the absolute pleasure of offering this rare Cosworth supercharged Toyota GT86. Now GT86s in my opinion are underrated fantastic little machines with this being roughly the 15th we've had in the last year or so alone but people often say "but they've only got 197 BHP" now I present the one and only solution to this problem. A Cosworth supercharger. Now if any of your 2.0 Turbo friends try talking down on you you have 300 Nm of torque and 260 BHP to the wheels whilst looking far cooler and also handling way better which will promptly make them quiet.

This isn't a cheap setup either as not only does it have the expensive Cosworth supercharger it also has the Cosworth exhaust (unhappy neighbours guaranteed) both of which are now discontinued making them an incredibly sought after rare find. Having done some research these upgrades cost from at least £5k-£9k with me assuming this one is closer to that £9k sum. The car was tuned and Dyno'd by Abbey Motorsport in 2024 which leads me to believe this is when the conversion was done as there is no single paperwork for the kit itself but it does come with a little Cosworth case containing the original Toyota badges and the Cosworth badge we have since put on the car. Having looked at other kits online it is 100% the exact same kit as the engine bay is identical.

For those that don't know who Cosworth are they were founded in 1958 in London and helped design F1 engines which led to 176 Gran Prix wins. Most famously they helped ford manufacture the golden age of UK fords including the Sierra and Escort RS Cosworth which now fetch sums in excess of £70k. They were so quick back in the day criminals kept stealing them to use in ram raids which made them "cheap" because you couldn't insure them.

In terms of service history the car has loads including 12 services (first 6 at Toyota) with a fresh one done by us for peace of mind. These cars are great for enthusiasts as they are one of the easiest cars to service and they seem to hold value exceptionally well let alone one with a desirable kit like ours.
