We at Hampden cars have the absolute pleasure of offering this 2005 Honda Civic Type R EP3 Premier Edition. Whilst most EP3s have been subject to aggressive tunes or typical Japanese rust this one has survived as it only has various bolt on modifications (like intake and exhaust) and an underside quite unbelievable for an over two decade old Honda. Being a Premier edition it also makes it highly desirable as it was an end of production send off which was done as Honda had excess interior parts from domestic models so instead put them on UK registered cars and thus are highly sort after for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
We bought this car directly from its previous owner who had it for 13 years and was very sad to see it go but he stressed that it had been looked after to every inch of its life and also stated how he regularly sprayed the underside during winter months when washing the car which probably saved the car from severe rust that EP3s are susceptible to. He has also left us a piece of paper for the new owner describing everything that's been done and how he has looked after it across his ownership.
It features huge amounts of invoices for various things and has 11 services in the book with the first 4 being from Honda and the most recent six done by the previous owner as he was an "enthusiast" as he described himself. To back these up there is parts invoices with the paperwork but the history needs to be seen in person to appreciate it. The most recent service was done 400 miles ago in May which adds up because the oil is very clean.
Bodywork wise it is impressive considering most of these have been through hell and back, no major scratches or damage to the bodywork and with it being finished in Cosmic grey it is one of the most desired colours only second behind Japanese import championship white. The underside features only minor surface rust which we have cleaned up, all sills and wheel arches are solid with no bubbling (which is common on premier editions) and we will include pictures of the underside as proof of its structural stability.
