We at Hampden Cars have the pleasure of offering this low owner RS4 Cabriolet which we took PX for our Nissan 370z. The previous owner had this car for three years and loved it to pieces spending roughly £6000 over his ownership to get the car running exceptionally well despite the age and mileage.
The engine is the standout of any RS4 being the naturally aspirated 4.2 V8 in this B7 RS4 which is also used in the first generation Audi R8 which was one of the faces of car design in the 2000's. The sheer sound of this thing firing up in our showroom is nothing short of amazing plus out on the road with the roof down amplifies that deep roar which makes you forget about the less than ideal fuel economy but who cares about that when you have an RS4. This generation features the ever more desirable manual transmission with it being the last generation before they switched to the automatic transmission making it a pure drivers car. With the roof down and a redline of 8250 RPM plus a manual gearbox the car is ridiculously enjoyable to drive. Its not recommended for those with unhappy neighbours as a cold start at 8am might get a brick through your window.
On to the history as i said earlier it is only 3 owners from new which is outrageously low for a car like this which is notorious for high ownership and the most previous owner spent around £6k which is a testament to how he treated this lovely car. Firstly there is a £2600 invoice done just this April in 2026 to replace the starter motor and fit all new springs around the car plus some wear and tear suspension parts and an annual service at 119,853 miles then various other services and smaller mechanical and electrical issues over his three years. It also had a full set of spark plugs done in October 2024 and have only done 4k miles since. The best part is the overall service history across its ownership being a staggering 15 services (13 stamps 2 invoices) which is crucial as these high performance engines need the servicing that Audi intended otherwise they can be costly. Either way the history collection is huge.
